Help me give my students who need a personal period pouch with a discreet zipper pouch that contains tampons, pads, personal wipes, a small deodorant, and a few pieces of chocolate.
There is never a dull moment with middle school students! My students are creative, fun, and enthusiastic. They are curious and eager to learn. They share ideas and collaborate together. They challenge themselves and each other. Each day is its own unique experience that offers many learning opportunities for the students and for myself. I am fortunate to have such amazing students.
My Project
This project is important for our young women. Having open access to personal hygiene products takes away the stigma of periods and provides essentials they need in order to succeed at school. This allows for them to have the materials they need without having to go down to the nurse.
The purpose of this is to provide students with what they need, when they need it, without having to miss a significant amount of class time to go to the nurse or even having to miss a whole school day because they don't have access to proper hygiene products.
