My Project

This year has been rewarding and challenging. My class is not motivated to learn many times but positive incentives can create a motivating classroom environment. I feel students should be rewarded to continue their motivated effort. As a teacher, I try to encourage and give incentives for lots of things, especially when I see students persevering through challenging work. I sometimes give wrist bands, Crayola packs and various awards. I often invest my own money because my students deserve it.

Positive incentives create a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

I am hoping by having a variety of classroom incentives, students will be excited to do their best to earn prizes and incentives. Hopefully, by having these incentives, such as colorful markers, key chains, and/or slap wristlets my students will participate more and try to be more engaged in lessons.
