My Project

My 7th grade math students are energetic, curious, fun-loving students who enjoy having fun while learning. I'm requesting these materials to give my students a classroom transformation Percent Cafe Day. Classroom transformations are a way to boost student engagement and get them excited about the content. Classroom transformations are anything that turns a classroom into a new and exciting learning environment for a day. I will create content around sales tax and tip for the Percent Cafe Day theme where students solve percent (sales tax and tip) math problems; the items for this projects are props to make the Percent Cafe Day seem more realistic. Students will be excited and engaged in practicing mathematics during this fun day.
