My Project

While office supplies are seemingly simple, they are essential to the flow and collaboration of our classroom. I plan to construct a learning environment that encourages active participation, facilitates diverse forms of expression, and supports critical thinking. Specifically, I have requested various Post-It supplies which will create a dynamic classroom where feedback, brainstorming, and idea-shares will be mainstreamed. Other materials that I have included are pens and pencils, as well as highlighters that will be the cornerstone to their learning. With these new supplies, they will be more productive during the regular classroom activities.

For this project, my main goals are to stock my classroom and provide my students will all the potential supplies they need to begin the school year.

With the support of this project, these goals will be easily matched. 6th grade is a vulnerable time for many students. Various methods of learning and sharing can bridge the gaps between all of my students. Additionally, having the new supplies will give them a sense of confidence and knowledge that someone was excited for their future.

Mrs. Cook will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 9.
