My Students
The freshman class is a pretty large and diverse group of students. Our student body comes from every socio-economic setting. They are full of ideas and are so willing to explore and learn.
My classroom is where I challenge and encourage my students.
Students spend the year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in future. They are excited to explore the world of high school through various types of literature to expand their capacity for critical thinking.
They take pride in their efforts and are willing to challenge their minds for the sake of learning. It is my job to ensure their personal and academic needs are met daily.
My Project
At the beginning of the year I ask students to bring pencils, tissue, hand sanitizer and index cards. Some students contribute, but umfortunately most of them are not financially able to do so.
Supplies like these make a difference to having a successful year.
We write so much when analyzing English
Literature. The students use notecards to organize their thoughts and the various details they are analyzing. We go through so much! Just like hand sanitizer and tissues.
With over 1400 students there are so many germs. I do my best to ensure we keep them at bay. Tissues and hand sanitizer are necessary to accomplish this task.
