Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With 300 students passing through my classroom each year, pencils are a hot commodity!

The items in my project will be used to provide my students with replenished classroom tools and supplies that are necessary for success.

As part of the curriculum, students watch short demo videos every day and headphones help them achieve more. Without headphones, 30 students will all be watching 30 different videos on speaker-- talk about distracting! Headphones will allow students to better focus on the video within their personalized content and set them up for success.

Finally, the shelving will be used to improve storage and accessibility within the classroom. Currently, students lack a "hub" in the classroom but the shelving will provide that for them. This is where they'll keep specific classroom materials like work packets, pencil sharpener, stapler, and tape. The shelving will promote cleanliness and organization but also create a visually appealing classroom with everything in its place.
