Pencils For Band Students

Help me give my students 150 pencil holders to place on our band music stands.

My Project

I am looking to put 100 pencil holders on every music stand in our band room. This will allow me to put a pencil on every music stand, and there are several times while teaching when I need to have students write on their band music.

This will allow all band students to have pencils to write on their music during rehearsals.

So much time is wasted if they get up from their band seat to get a pencil from the pencil cup or if I have to pass pencils out each class and collect them. Now, the pencils will always be on the stand and will not fall onto the floor.

Also many students in my district do not come to school with the necessary supplies like note books and pencils. This will ensure that every student has what they need during rehearsals.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
