This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I love the excitement in my student hearts and minds. My students are so eager to learn and experience new hands-on skills. Inspiring special needs students on a daily basis is a joy in itself. Special needs students enjoy the simple things in life: coloring, cutting, sorting, measuring, social engagement, music, and cooking. When any (educational)opportunity is presented to my students it’s discussed amongst themselves for days until the time finally arrives. Oh, what a Joy to see in the eyes of my students!
My Project
The students will use pencil and paper to keep notes and collaborate with other students. The Hand sanitizer, disinfected spray and Kleenex will help with the preventing of germs. Students will also learn the importance of cleanliness by putting all trash into the wastebasket. My students will become artist in time by creating a portrait using paint color of choice. Providing the opportunity of enjoyment and learning new skills for my students with these supplies will surely brighten their hearts and minds. Memorable moments will be capture daily with the pencil and paper provide for my students. What a joy to learn.
