This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pencils and pencil sharpener are essentials in the classroom. We had a small one in the class, but it was broken after daily uses in monthes. So I'm asking for a heavy duty one, so it can last long time and my students can help do the classroom jobs to be a part of our classroom community. Not only teacher, but also my students take responsibilities to keep our class running and learning.

Building up students' sense of responsibility is as equally important as academic learning.

So they can be all-around people to contribute to the society in the future. We use origami paper a lot for crafts exchange or sometimes we use them for science notebook taking. Thank you for supporting my class and our students!
