My students need two soccer goals for their PE class and recess.

While many of my students are from generational poverty, they are bright, funny, and love school. I dream of providing them the recreational fun they deserve. We need two soccer goals--and your financial support!--to make that dream happen!
Our school a public school consisting of 1st-3rd graders.
The vast majority of our kids are economically needy. In fact, over 85% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. The kids are smart (our school has earned an Exemplary academic rating), and we have a great administrative staff and teacher core. Unfortunately, however, our state has severe budget problems, and the legislature is in the process of cutting back its limited educational budget even more. So, our kids don't have access to a lot of material things at home or at school that most children in America take for granted. We teachers would like to provide our students a few inexpensive extras--like the opportunity for them to play a fun, recreational sport like soccer rather than spend time in PE on a few pieces of playground equipment or just running around a beat-up blacktop. Believe it or not, just a couple of soccer goals would make a big difference.
The 650 kids of our school are dreaming of new playground equipment—which would make our schoolyard a safe and fun place for them to play, learn, and grow. With the addition of two soccer goals on our campus, the children will be able to utilize them during their recess time and PE class. This is one of those instances where a small addition to the environment can make a huge difference. Giving our kids a chance to play soccer will promote physical fitness, build confidence, and encourage our children to enjoy the outdoors in fun and challenging ways. Please help us to make that difference!
Please consider making this important investment in helping our young students.
