My Project

Hi and welcome to preschool! Our classroom is a warm caring environment, however some of our students come from families who have suffered trauma and need some additional resources. These pods would give the students a safe place to go when they are overwhelmed by their feelings and emotions. I had these in the past and had to leave them at my previous school so I know how effective they can be. When the children sense they need some alone time they can go to these pods and read a book or play with a fidget until they feel they are ready to join the class again. They are a great way for them to learn independence in managing their emotions.
