This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Who would have thought that these items will have a special impact on these students?

I teach students with special needs in a low-income community,

who are some of the most loving kids you'll ever meet.

Though most of them struggle with many things both in and out of the classroom. One thing they all have in common is their love for reading. I would like to provide them with a safe haven, where they'll be able to drift away in their books. Help me provide reading chairs, a rug, and books for their save haven! Thanks!
