This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love PE and they love coming to the gym. Our students need access to technology and equipment each day in order to fulfill our curriculum standards and ensure they become well-rounded IB students. Our gym is TINY and every student in the school takes PE or Athletics so we always find our equipment and facilities at a deficit. We provide all of the supplies from technology, to sports equipment, to uniforms for our kids so they can be successful regardless of their economic background. Please help us support our gym and our kids so they can be the best students, athletics, and human beings possible!

My Project

Many of students have no access to technology and our school simply doesn’t have enough technology to serve the nearly 1200 students that walk our halls each day. These printers will allow the students to scan in images, print images for their poster presentations, and allow each student the opportunity to complete their work at school because many of them do not have this technology available at home. We serve over 1000 students in our PE classes each day, so having these printers available to them each day will not only benefit the PE classes, but the school as a whole.
