Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are a Title I school in eastern North Carolina looking to start a PBIS store for our students. The items requested, candy, toys, and other small treats, will be sorted and given point values. Students will work to collect points for positive behavior and they will be able to spend their points in the store that contains the items we have requested. We are excited to start this to go along with the monthly and 9-week incentives we already have in place. This store will be available for all students K-5.

We are excited to begin a store for the students to visit when they have earned points.

We want to create and foster a positive learning environment for all students.
