Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Here at our school, we use a school wide system named PBIS Rewards to incentive our students. PBIS Rewards is a way for us to give points to our students that show acts of leadership, academic excellence, school spirit, community service, kindness, and student growth. Student can then use the points that they have earned to “buy” items at the School House Store. This reward system has been so successful that we have lines of students waiting to buy items on House Store days. This is where we need help. We need help with purchasing snacks, like Taki chips and Little Debbie Honey Buns, at our House Store. We don’t have regular funds to keep the store running. Our students have bought into this system and enjoy getting their snacks because they earned PBIS points to get treats. Please help fund our wish list to continue to reward our students with treats and snacks.
