My Project

We are an IB / AVID school in NE, Minneapolis, and Minneapolis Public Schools, and we focus on WICOR (Writing Inquiry Collaboration Organization and Reading). We serve a diverse population of learners and value a culture of learning and respect.

Studies find praising middle school students improve on-task behavior by up to 70% which increases learning and builds confidence.

Middle School students need additional support when it comes to keeping organized! This is where we need your support.

Help us with incentives such as gift cards, snacks, school supplies, bookmarks, and earbuds as we recognize students for their efforts! Students will earn tickets to exchange for gift cards, snacks, or school supplies based on PBIS (positive behavior intervention or supports) for arriving to class Advisory class on time and remaining in the Advisory the full hour, along with participating in both the social-emotional learning and WICOR strategies by updating their daily planner, keeping a weekly learning log, organizing their binders, and meeting the A or B honor roll.

I love seeing our students get rewarded! Our ticket program is a pathway to showing students how to earn educational scholarships.
