My Project

Through our Positive Behavior Supports & Interventions program (PBIS), grade 1-5 students are learning to be better school community members by being respectful, being responsible, and being safe.

PBIS is designed to teach students pro-social skills and to promote behaviors consistent with a positive and safe learning environment.

We love our school community! Thank you for your support.

Students earn "bee bucks" (a token economy) when they are being respectful, being responsible, and being safe to other children and adults. The PBIS team is working to create a school-wide "store" where students may spend their earned bee bucks on designated shopping days.

We are requesting Pop Tubes, Push Pop Fidget Toys, Friendship Fidget Zipper Bracelets, Mini Notebooks and more! Our students look forward to these rewards, and they also learn positive behaviors like saving up their bee bucks, goal-setting, being responsible, and waiting for things they want.

Using extrinsic motivation leads to intrinsic motivation to show positive behaviors.

We hope to show our students that positive behavior pays off! Thank you for your efforts to support the PBIS program!
