My Project

Research indicates that positive reinforcement conditions positive classroom behavior. With positive reinforcement, students are rewarded for positive behavior instead of reprimanded for negative behavior. This project is for classroom incentives for our students.

When using positive behavior support and appropriate classroom management, research has shown a decrease in problems which increases academic time.

In our classroom, students can pick from the prize box if they have a Purple Day for good behavior. Our class project aims to provide students with opportunities to purchase popular items, such as Barbies, cameras, and walkie talkies.

These items will provide rewards for the students who demonstrate behavior that is consistent with our classroom expectations. These incentives are a crucial and vital aspect of the PBIS program. They serve both as a reward and motivator for positive behavior for my students.
