My Project

This fall I will begin teaching in a school library that has not had a librarian in...five years? seven years? Nobody is quite sure. What is certain is that the books are older, faded, and lack excitement.

Mo Willems' "Elephant & Piggie" books are delightful and humorous.

They are the perfect level for beginning readers, and are still amusing to more advanced readers. This makes them an ideal choice for partner reading. Friends can check out matching books and practice their reading skills together, having fun while developing their abilities as readers. This double set of "Elephant & Piggie" books will add some much-needed interest to our picture book section.
