This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students iPads to create a digital note-taking capability and foster collaboration.

I love that my students are curious, determined, and eager to dive deeper into their learning.

They ask questions, challenge themselves, and support each other in ways that make our classroom a true community of learners. With iPads, I can give them the tools they need to bring this spirit of curiosity and teamwork to life. Yes, iPads are expensive, but providing innovative learning comes at a price.

Research shows that handwritten notes improve retention, comprehension, and mastery of material compared to typing. With iPads and styluses, my students can take handwritten notes digitally—blending the proven benefits of handwriting with the organization and accessibility of technology. Their notes will not only help them learn more effectively, but also be searchable and shareable to enhance collaboration.

Each iPad will allow my students to:

Strengthen learning: Take handwritten notes that deepen understanding while staying organized.

Collaborate effectively: Share notes, work on projects, and problem-solve together in real time.

Stay engaged: Use interactive apps and simulations to bring abstract concepts to life.

Extend lessons hands-on: Create projects, run digital experiments, and design interactive presentations that let them apply classroom knowledge in creative, tangible ways.

By providing this resource, you’ll help my students unlock their potential—not just by learning concepts, but by applying them in authentic, hands-on experiences that make learning stick.
