My Students

Our kids are amazingly resilient after surviving the devastating Camp Fire. Before the fire, they were normal mountain kids.

Unfortunately, their school did not survive the fire.

Now the kids just want to be back with their teachers and friends learning and laughing together. With familiar math tools like linker cubes, dice, and blocks this transition will be so much easier. Please help these amazing Camp Fire survivors.

My Project

We are trying to replace just a few of the many math tools that we had at our school that was destroyed by the Camp Fire. These tools, Unifix Cubes, Pattern Blocks, foam shapes, and foam dice, are essential for the implementation of our math curriculum K-3 grade and beyond. We have picked just a few of the most essential ones and hope to continue to add more as we get started back to school. The kids really can't do math unless we have these items. They are utilized daily to reinforce basic math concepts. Every classroom across the country has math tools and we want our students to have them too. Thank you for your support!
