Parachuting into an Active Life!

Help me give my students a parachute that will allow all students to have a handle and participate.

My Project

Students at BES love to play with the large, colorful parachute. My hope is to get a new one that is big enough for every student to have access to a handle and not just have to hold on to the parachute. It would be replacing one that has several rips and tears.

Using the parachute seems fun and silly, but it gives students a cardio workout.

Their arms and core definitely get a workout, but they love it! The parachute will not only be used in PE class but can also be used in STEAM and for indoor recess.

Students love it when I add a bunch of little balls and we play "Popcorn" or when one large ball is added and we make it swirl.
