This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Paper is an essential component in any classroom. We often take it for granted and don't realize what a vital role it plays in supporting modern education. Paper is a tool for free expression, creativity, exploration, and learning. My students enjoy using different paper formats to complete hands-on and minds- on activities such as building a 3-D animal habitat or completing a spelling word search.

With the gift of assorted paper, my students will be able to access more of our curriculum and present their learning in a variety of ways.

Having an assortment of paper for daily classwork, differentiation, special projects, and free expression will support the students to perform at their best. Providing different paper options during literacy assignments also allows me as a teacher to provide ways for students to present their writing in the way that best matches their developmental level.
