Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The beginning of the school year is always hectic, and full of excitement, anticipation, and anxiety for our bright students. Students are excited to jump-start their art lessons, which cannot be accomplished without the proper materials.

My classroom goes through a lot of paper and it needs constant replenishment.

We use specialty paper for art projects that cannot be done on simple printer paper. The students will be practicing shading, watercolor painting, oil pastels, and more this year, and they will require fine art quality paper.

These specific materials will make a great difference in their learning as they will preserve their artwork much longer and teach them how the quality of materials will affect their overall artwork. Students will be responsible for curating their student art show this year and must be mindful of the materials they use to complete their projects.
