Paper, Glue, Markers, & Googly Eyes for My Kindergartners!
Help me give my students primary composition books, construction paper, school glue, dry erase markers and erasers, and googly eyes so they have the supplies they need at home while they are distance learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Sitting on bottoms is overrated. My students learn from doing, not just watching and listening. My students are very active, and it is hard for them to sit still and just listen to lessons. When lessons are delivered through games, fun activities and fun stories, they love it and learn much, much more. Right now we are completely online distance learning.
I have fourteen girls and ten boys who are all precious and beautiful, and even though they come from a Title I school they all have the potential to excel in academics, graduate from college and have very successful careers.
I am the teacher who needs to give them a strong foundation in math, science, PE, visual arts, music, social studies, reading and writing to make sure their career dreams come true.
My Project
Students learn to write in kindergarten. My students will make beautiful art with the construction paper, school glue, glue sticks, and googly eyes. My students will write sentences using the composition books about the beautiful art they created. They will use the dry erase marker and erasers to work on math problems.
These activities will keep my students attentive to the instruction as they are at home distance learning and they will enjoy it much more than sitting quietly through a lesson.
Learning the academic concepts that they need for a strong academic foundation through active learning activities will give my students the boost they need so they will have bright futures!
