Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need colored construction paper, drawing paper, and project paper in the art room. I only put one color on each paper because it adds up quickly! This lets the students do fun paper projects and add fun colors to their collage work and drawings/paintings. We love using different colors so that they can individualize their artwork! We also tear paper and do paper projects. My students are unique because we are in a lower economic area with a high immigrant population. These students need a way to be creative and have an outlet.
