My Students

My students are enrolled in our new STEAM program. They work hard and always seek excellence in the classroom.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and over 35% are from low socioeconomic homes.

As part of the program I am looking for creative and engaging ways to increase rigor in the classroom.

My students are always looking for ways to challenge themselves and want explore all content areas not just in the classroom but through real life experiences. I feel it is my job to make it possible.

My Project

I need to create a lot of my content myself. This a brand new program at my school and as department chair it is my job to make sure we are challenging our students.

The paper is necessary for me to print out the higher level readings needed by my students.

It is difficult to provide copies for every student with all of the budget cuts. But in-order for my students to get the best education possible it falls on me to create and mass produce the rigorous content my students need. I feel to not do this is to short change them on the education they deserve.
