My Project

I want my students to feel compassion and care for others. Middle school is a tough time and emotionally it is hard for our kids to care for others or see others’ perspectives.

This project will focus on how our kids show they care for others by writing me a note about what they have done for someone else in our school/community.

They must tell me about how they have showed compassion for someone else or helped the environment in detail. I teach my kids to care for others daily. I model how they should treat others and I quickly re-teach when I don’t see it happening. This is a way for them to show that outside of my classroom. If they give me a note about what they did, they will get a PS Panthers Care shirt. If I have shirts leftover, I will invite other students in my school to participate in this challenge. I would love to see all 100 shirts be picked up in this Panthers Care challenge. I will be able to see if it works through the shirts worn around the school.
