My Project

We’re asking for supplies to get our Panther Cafe coffee cart up and running.

The materials I’m requesting will benefit our 3 community-based classes to help in building a stronger community in the classrooms and as well as around the school.

Students will be able to read orders submitted, help fill the orders and in some instances, be able to deliver the items. We will work on budgeting, profit and loss, business models, inventory control, customer service and so much more. Our goal is to make enough to keep the cart running itself and expand to baked goods!

This project will help us with many life skills, including but not limited to building social skills for the classroom and beyond, in preparation for transition into the work field.

The coffee cart will also help students in money handling and counting accurately. This coffee cart will also help students with multitasking and social skills in all settings.
