My Students

I am lucky to teach such great kids! My sixth graders are advanced learners who thrive on projects and hands-on learning. They love engaging in discussions and researching new things, and they are so happy to be back in the classroom. Some of my students suffer from anxiety and other related challenges, so keeping them engaged in learning and finding ways to connect with each child has become more important than ever.

My Project

Creative classroom breaks are so important during our current pandemic. We do so much on our Chromebooks every day so the kids are used to digital work when our district determines digital days. With these new supplies, I will be able to provide more artistic options when we do classroom projects that students are unable to access at home. School should be a fun place of learning, and these supplies will be a welcome addition to the classroom because they are not on a device. I am all about new ways to create.
