My Project

Please help the kids get paintbrushes and paint cleaner to use while painting. Students take care of products when they are in supply library kits and it is our goal that they learn clean studio habits of mind while also learning to paint.

These brushes and cleaner will allow students to learn how to paint using different types of brushes and practice studio habits of mind.

One of the challenges we have in the art room is that students do not have all of the tools available to achieve different techniques. As a result, students use a one-size-fits-all approach to paintbrushes. We have a couple of brush sets that they must wait-list to borrow, and when students get to use them they are so excited to see that painting is easier when you choose the exact brush needed for the technique. This project will give all the students the ability to use a brush set and discover their capabilities given the right tools.
