My Project

We are developing a flexible and mobile studio format for our art class, where students can create with any medium in any orientation in any location. Rather than limiting students to the same table seating they spend most of their educational day in, we intend to provide our students with the best ergonomic studio space we can manage.

Pairing handheld palettes with portable drawing benches and portable project boards allows our students the option to work seated or standing in the classroom or out of it.

Because the palettes are lightweight and durable, it will be easy for students to carry their projects to interesting locations to work on landscapes outside from observation, portraiture of their classmates, and dynamic still life arrangements. By providing these tools, you will help our students to have a more authentic studio experience that encourages creativity, problem-solving abilities, and skills that extend far beyond the art studio.
