My Students

In our STEAM school the children are quick with technology and innovative. They wonder, research and explore.

My students make it easy to see their greatness.

Each has their own unique personality and they show respect to one another. They appreciate their differences and gently encourage each other to be kind.

My students have learned to adapt well to the constant change of setting throughout the day. Our elementary school building renovation has slowed down due to the pandemic and our students have been migrating between three buildings in order to receive their education. During the construction phase electrical and heating issues arose. My Art classes have changed rooms twice. We even spent two weeks in the kitchen next to the buzzing but warm utilities. The students remained chipper and excited to learn. They have not only dealt with personal effects of the pandemic but educational ones as well. They have shown endurance and respect in difficult circumstances. My students have chosen to thrive despite personal and environmental challenges.

My Project

Paint It, Act It, Share It is a collaborative theatrical and visual art project that will engage our at home learners as well as brick and mortar students.

Your donation will provide the opportunity for visual expression, public speaking skills, technological learning and reading literacy.

Each student in our school will use a canvas to paint a portion of the back drop to a theatrical setting. The readers theater scripts will be the guide for developing reading fluency, voice intonation and confidence in front of a group of people. The Mobil Organization Station will provide the much needed organization that will keep my students digital devises safe and easy to find when they are not recording art work or acting.
