Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading is fundamental to education, crucial for academic success and personal growth. Leveled readers are essential resources that significantly enhance the learning experience for emerging readers. By donating these materials, you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners in our community.
My goal is to improve literacy skills among students, providing them with the tools necessary for academic achievement.
Integrating leveled readers into our curriculum will create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive. During guided reading sessions, I will group students by their reading levels, beginning with level A for beginners and advancing as needed.
Leveled readers will also be pivotal during independent reading time. Our classroom library will be organized by reading levels, allowing students to select books that match their interests and abilities, fostering motivation and enjoyment in reading.
Despite challenges like limited resources and language barriers, my diverse students show resilience and a strong desire to learn.
In conclusion, your support will enhance literacy skills and inspire a new generation of learners, making a significant difference in their lives and our community's future.
