My Project

This school-wide project will foster a vibrant reading culture within our school community! As part of the ongoing efforts to create an environment that values literacy and fosters a love of reading, the Book Vending Machine will put books in the hands of our students!

This innovative machine will offer students access to a diverse selection of books, catering to a wide range of interests and reading levels.

It’s an opportunity for our school to promote literacy in a fun and engaging way, while also encouraging students to explore new genres and authors. Students will be able to win and earn tokens that they will put in the vending machine for a free book. This is part of our school-wide PBIS rewards system; a tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The generous donations toward this project will help make this initiative a reality! Whether it’s a beloved classic, a thrilling mystery, or a captivating work of non-fiction, the voracious learners at our school will have new books in their hands to push their reading progress and to grow their love of reading overall! The students here are special due to their dedication to academic excellence, their passion for learning and their diverse backgrounds. Also because they know it’s cool “to be responsible, respectful and safe” at school.
