I teach PE to students in grades K-5 in a multicultural school that celebrates diversity. My students enjoy running, racing, biking, bowling, dancing, and tennis. They also enjoy reading, math and playing foursquare and basketball at recess.
All the students at my school are able to eat breakfast at school for free.
Many students are bilingual. A few don't speak English but are making progress every day.
Students at my school are back at school in a new building. In the spring, half attended remotely. This is the first time that all the students are attending for the entire day, including lunch. This year, lunch is free for everyone!
Having a printer that is easy to use makes a huge difference. We currently have an older one that is difficult to set up and connect to. This one would be easily accessible to print papers that are needed right away.
The printed papers -awards, certificates, PE points (where students could earn, save and redeem)-would be easy to get right here in the gym without having to go to the main printer at the school where there are lots of papers from everyone who prints.
Having a color printer and ink would also make a huge difference as our school printer doesn't print in color.
