This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kids are excited and eager to be successful coders. Most of these students were my 1st graders a few years ago and now they are 3rd and 4th graders. They love to code and are smart. They want to make a difference in their life and they feel coding will help them. My students do NOT like it when I have to cancel a meeting. They are having fun learning and are becoming inspired as they progress. They help each other and motivate each other as well. Collaboration !

My Project

The students will utilize the Ozobots to create pathways for the Ozobot to travel through a life size model that they will make. These models will be presented at our end of year STEM Banquet. The students are already thinking of models they would like to design and code the Ozobots to travel. My students are progressing in their coding skills and are excited to use the Ozobots. These STEM & coding skills are building students' confidence and problem solving skills. They are excited to learn more and explore the possibilities of creating things in technology with their own mindset.
