My Students

My funny, interesting, and creative students enjoy reading about a variety of topics and making connections with others through literature.

Earlier this year my students came and asked if they could start a book club.

They organized a time, a club name, and a form to pick genres. This project would help give students access to the books they have selected for their club.

My Project

This is a project that came directly from the students for something they are excited about. The students have been working to organize an independant book club. They have spent time finding a sponsor, and creating a name and meeting schedule.

This project would give students access to books that they want to read with their reading club.

The "Overbooked" Book Club has members in grades 8-12 and all students have had input into the titles.

This project would allow students access to books they are interested in, and supplies to further their student created and run book club.
