This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you PNC for this amazing opportunity to create an outside reading nook under our trees. Our students love flipping through books during developmental play time and pretending they are teachers and students. Our students love having an area to sit and read on a hot day here in California. Our students love telling stories in their own words as they learn how books work.

Help us give our little scholars portable rocking chairs to have outside on our grass area for these special times of day to get them off the carpet or their regular chairs to practice being a reader.

These rockers are just perfect to create an outside learning reading nook under our big tree outside on our field right next to our classroom. Thank you, DonorsChoose for all you do to support our little readers.
