My Project

I've had many students who can get easily overwhelmed by the noises and stimulations inside the classroom. They need and often ask for short breaks outside, but often that just includes a quick walk around the building or sitting outside for a moment with noise canceling headphones.

I want to provide my students with some sensory options to help them calm down and re-regulate when they are outside.

A variety of fidgets, stepping stones, and options for bouncing or moving around while outside will give them the choices they need beyond just a quiet moment or walk around the classroom. These sensory tools are meant to be used by students outside and will last my students for a long time!
