Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Science is best done through observation, investigation and exploration. I believe that taking science outdoors would be both fun and educational for my students. It is important that they learn about the world around them, so I have requested the i-Poster my world interactive map that can enable students to explore geography during outdoor science exploration.
Kids learn best through hands-on experiences.
The greenhouse would be wonderful for the beginning stages of sowing and planting, so that the kids can see for themselves the process and growth of living things. They will then place the plants in the outdoor school garden beds. The grow lights will be used to help the plants flourish into seedings. The regrow science kit would allow students to experiment in the rejuvenation of plants. My students would ultimately be outdoor science explorers.
