My Project

We are building up our outdoor classroom and these items will help expand our play to outside. Our class is an intentional play based classroom and the goal is to have an outdoor classroom that mirrors the enriching environment of our indoor space. Outdoor classrooms and playing outside offer significant social-emotional benefits for children that can boost self-esteem and perseverance.

Studies show that spending time in green spaces can lower stress levels, reduce anxiety, and improve moods.

Our outdoor classroom will include versatile seating and workspaces, nature exploration tools, art and creativity stations, and sensory play areas. This is vital in helping children feel more emotionally balanced.
