This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Music is such a gift and bringing in new instruments is a must. When kids are young, children learn to recognize letters in their name and the names of their friends as they sing “I Am Happy to See You.” At a young age students learn how to imitate and follow directions as an important skills that follow our little scholars into their careers. It is my job to include music and instruments into their daily lives and I need your help.

I am passionate about bringing music to our young students and I can't wait to get these cymbals and drums into the hands of my littles as we get ready for our students end of the year outdoor music celebration.

We will be making music for our students, our families, and our community to listen to in our outdoor classroom and these new musical instruments will add much value to our experience. Thank you DC for everything you do!
