Out of this World Science Experiences

Help me give my students opportunities for experiential learning related to our study of magnetic, electrical and gravitational fields - we will build a 3D model of Earth's orbit, build circuits, and design interactive projects using MakeyMakey boards.

My Project

In this project, I am requesting 1) eclipse viewing glasses so that my 8th grade Science students can view the eclipse as a group on April 8, 2) a LEGO Earth-Moon orbits kit so that students can build a 3D model related to our study of gravitational field, and 3) 5 Makey Makey boards so that students can design creative and interactive projects using electric energy.

All of these supplies will expose my students to more hands-on experiential Science learning and guide them toward becoming independent researchers about our Science topics.
