My Students

Our class consists of three and four year-old-students. We are an inclusive classroom, so we have children at various stages of development and ability levels, some never having been outside of the home. Our school district is in the poorest county in our state, and our students are at a socioeconomic disadvantage.

Our students are happy, kind, smart kids, filled to the brim with natural curiosity, a love for learning, and an energy that, simply put, is contagious.

We strive to give them every opportunity to grow, fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Early Childhood education has been proven to be paramount to the future success of children throughout school and into adulthood. It is our hope that this avenue will assist us in giving our students a beautiful experience here that they might otherwise miss out on.

My Project

Our students are in need of various sensory materials and learning toys to enhance their learning experiences in multiple labs in our classroom. We are seeking assistance in acquiring these supplies for our science, sand, and water labs. The items included in this project are a magnetic number fishing set, kinetic sand, design and build water blocks, touch and feel memory capsules, a speedy snow bucket, and sensory shapes and dough.

By utilizing the variety of materials requested, our students will be gaining valuable skills in developing their knowledge and understanding of their senses, fine motor development, measuring skills, and fundamental math concepts.

We are excited for this new school year to begin and are looking forward to giving our students a more well-rounded opportunity to learn and grow as they explore with developmentally appropriate, exciting, and engaging new materials.
