My students need to see the film, "BULLY" in order to enhance our current character education initiative.
This project expired on May 7, 2012.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Bullying is a national issue. We are trying to educate our students about the importance of character education. We want to send a strong anti-bullying message to our students and community.
Our middle school houses grades 5-8.
We are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education for all of our students. We strive to meet the social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of all children. We all share in a common purpose to learn well, stay safe, participate, and graduate.
We are requesting movie tickets so that we can take our 6th and 7th graders to see the critically acclaimed film, "Bully". We will take our district bus to the local cinema and we will experience the movie together as a team. After the film, the students will participate in classroom workshops addressing anti-bullying strategies and how to become upstanding citizens.
We feel that it is important to expose our students to the negative impact of bullying.
We feel that this film will educate our students and open discussion. We are confident that this activity will enhance our current programming.
