My students need an larger classroom library to increase our learning capability. The Very Busy Spider and The Little Blue Truck will be engaging books for my students.
My students are a diverse group of children with a huge love of learning. Our school services PreK through first grade. We are a predominantly low income school that works hard to create great character in each student.
I do my best to create a fun and safe learning environment.
I want to create a love of learning in my classroom through many different avenues. My goal is for children to want to come to school and have a great time leaning while they are there.

Studies on literacy confirm what we as educators have known for years: the more contact children have with books, the better readers they become.Teachers can promote higher quality reading performances by reading to children daily and by having them interact with books through the extensive use of classroom libraries. We are requesting books of interest to help stock our classroom library.
In order to attract and hold children’s interests, classroom libraries must be stocked with many good books.
Books like The Bug Zoo and I Like Myself are engaging books that my students will enjoy reading.
