Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Despite having a high-needs population, our district remains a vibrant and diverse community that is striving to personalize learning and nurture independence and creativity. My students are simply amazing and I am inspired by them each day. They are smart, enthusiastic, and hardworking. Each time I raise the bar, my students work a little harder to reach their goals. My goal, as an educator, is to serve as a facilitator in classroom discussions and to encourage learning through authentic and hands-on learning experiences.

My Project

The Covid-19 pandemic is dragging into its second year and the toll it has taken on our kids is undeniable. We have had to work twice as hard with half as much since the pandemic started.

My students are working so hard to grow and learn in school.

With a return to in-person instruction comes a demand for in-person materials. We are running short on basic supplies like headphones, pencils, paper, and crayons. In addition, some of our flexible seating has become old and beat up.

Your donation will help replace these basic supplies for the rest of the school year.
