My Project

At my school, students often don't get the chance to participate in extracurricular activities. To help with this, we try to offer as many activities throughout the school as we can. I am the advisor for our school's news station. Our 4th-6th graders have the opportunity to write, film, and edit a weekly news episode to let their schoolmates know what is happening in our school and community.

As this is the first year that I have been in charge of the new station, we are still discovering what will help the station be more successful in my room.

My students have requested some computer upgrades to make it easier for them. They have requested headphones so they can work on their segments without bothering those around them, as well as a laminator so they can save the papers they use each week!
