My students need a rug for the center of our big tile floor. This rug is a safer way to add comfort, organize seating and dancing, and adds a splash of color to the room!

My Students
My students are phenomenal musicians who can sing and dance their tails off! They come from all different walks of life and contribute so much to our culture in the classroom. They may be a small school but their personalities and musical ability all pack a big punch! They really know how to put on a show and have shown that they are capable of an "above and beyond" musical experience in the classroom!
Their enthusiasm is infectious and the key component to their success every day.
They are such great little people who will one day grow up to be great BIG people!
My Project
Our classroom has a tile floor, which is cold and dull in color. Currently, we are using old carpet squares that I set up before each class in formations of a circle or rectangle depending on what activity we are doing that day. But carpet squares are difficult to have students set up on their own and tend to move when doing a movement activity, thus creating a safety issue. I'd go without them but that makes seating cold and uncomfortable for tiny people.
With this proposed rug we will be able to organize seating placement, perform successful dancing formations, provide comfortable seating, and add a splash of color to our room that we desperately need!
